W. Daniel Hale is Professor of Psychology and Director of the Community Health Initiative at Stetson University. He earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Massachusetts/Amherst, where he also completed his clinical internship. He served as a clinical psychologist at Orlando Regional Medical Center before joining the faculty at Stetson University in 1979. He has been a consultant to hospitals, medical centers, and colleges, and he maintained a psychotherapy practice for more than twenty-five years.
